County of Kauai Multi-Hazard Mitigation Strategy

The County of Kauai Multi-Hazard Mitigation Strategy is now available for review. The plan helps to meet requirements of the Federal Emergency Agency (FEMA) for hazard mitigation planning, as specified in the Disaster Management Act of 2000. The Kauai Hazard Mitigation Committee will use this document to guide implementation of mitigation actions. This document is dynamic and will change over the next year. Mitigation actions will be reviewed annually and the plan will be updated every three years.
